This is final phase or realization phase in the electronic commerce portal development. In this phase the elementary parts of the system architecture like Adaptors, controllers, formatters which are called components are incrementally implemented. All realized subsystems subsequently go through a component testing. The test cases are and test data sets are created to test the subsystems' functionality.

The tested components are then integrated into the electronic commerce portal. The completely integrated system is then subjected to a system and integration test. For the system test the test data sets used for the component test are extended, and new sets are created. After a successful system test, the electronic commerce portal is delivered to the client together with the user tutorial and manuals.
